They have taken you from the British Imperial Cities Prison...First by carriage, and then by boat, to the east, to the Dominion of Morrowind. Fear not, for I am watchful, you have been chosen.

My own proposal for a UK flag after Scottish secession. With an appendix.

As a general note on getting the St David Cross onto the Union Flag:

1) First the flag needs to be officially authorised as flag representative of Wales - since while St David is the Patron Saint of Wales, the Welsh Flag is the Red Dragon one (cf a similar argument on St Piran's Flag re Cornwall...).

2) Wales needs to be raised into a Crown/Kingdom separate from England (but part of the UK). It is currently a Principality that is part of the Kingdom of Great Britain within the Kingdom/Crown of England.

3) Don't do it anyway. There's no way aesthetically to combine the St David Cross with that of St George. And it's probably easier just to turn some quadrants green.

Hey there.

This is my first post in this forum, which I only found because of this great thread in the first place. In an act of indefinite gratitude, I therefore present you my humble attempt at designing a flag:

Not if the rule of colourtinctureheraldry thingy is to be followed. For me it's just a guideline but for UK it's more important due to heraldic history and such.

Er, no, that's not counterchanging. Unless you mean the rule of tincture, which however doesn't apply here as the Cross quarterly Gules fimbriated Argent and Or fimbriated Sable is placed upon the Argent a Saltire Gules and not next to it.

You may want to remove some of the red, to make the symbol larger relative to the total size.

I meant the yellow/white rule...yes, the one called the rule of tincture. I never knew about that exception before, thanks for telling me.

Another reason is that with the black section enlarged, it looks disproportionate even though it isn't, and generally just horrible.

No SVG file provided because this looks horrible. If you want it for God-knows-what reason, get the previous one and adjust the black stroke.

Need someone who is willing to try and make some alternate Highway Signs for my TL. Anyone interested? You'd get lots of free reign.
