Mattel and TBS+Paramount to invest $275 Million USD to temporarily turn Bourbon Street into "Barbon Street" for the Barbie Movie premeiere in June of 2012. The anticipated film based on the iconic toyline will premiere at the Superdome as the summer centerpiece for the 100th anniversary of its distributor Paramount Pictures. Another investment being made by Mattel and TBS+Paramount will be a newly reinforced gondola above the fifty yard line, which will add a new center-hung, 4K digital videoboard that will be used to screen the Barbie film and be repurposed after that for Saints home games and for future Final Fours and Super Bowls.

Limited Run to open its first megastores in 2011. The San Francisco location will open on Stockton Street at the former site of the Virgin megastore. Another location will open at Limited Run's hometown of Portland, Oregon. Another will open at the former Pratt Street Power Plant in Baltimore. In San Diego, a location will open in the Gaslamp District, within walking distance of Petco Park and will see significant foot traffic during the annual Comic Con. In New York City, a location will open in Times Square. The location in Los Angeles will occupy retail space at Universal's CityWalk.
