The US election of 1916 was a very close call. Even Wilson thought he was going to lose the elections. But what if Wilson's opponent, Charles Evans Hughes, managed to win in 1916? What kind of consequences would this have on WW I? The Leage of Nations?
Hughes was a pro-war Republican and wasn't as idealistic as Wilson, so I assume that the US will still enter WW I and maybe a better composed LoN?
